We all WIN with Green
Our mission is about changing lives and healing people, but it’s also about healing the planet. That’s why we became the first non-profit on the Hawaiian Islands to go green and why we continue to expand our eco-friendly practices whenever possible. We are helping to insure a brighter future for our clients and their families. We’re looking forward to the 2010 opening on Kauai of No hono wai (Living Water), our first therapeutic living home for women and their children which we hope will become a green living model for recovery centers all over Hawaii. The home will feature vegetable gardens fertilized by composted food waste, as well as solar-powered electricity, energy star-rated appliances and computers, and furniture fashioned from 100% recycled materials.
